Games and settings

The app handles game state, game records, themes, piece sets, and speech settings as local app data. CPU and local matches do not use an account or CloudKit sync.

Voice input and speech

Voice input passes microphone audio to Apple’s speech recognition. The app requests on-device recognition; availability depends on the device, language, and operating system.

Spoken output uses Apple’s speech synthesis. Voice input requires microphone and speech-recognition permission.

Permissions and purchases

Voice input requires microphone and speech-recognition permission, which can be changed in settings. Themes, piece sets, and blind-chess voice packs are one-time App Store purchases; Apple handles payment and restores.

Stored data and support

Game state, past game records, and settings are stored on the device. The app does not provide a control to delete all past game records and settings. To remove all local app data, delete the app through device settings.

We use support messages, attachments, and device or app details to reply and investigate the issue. Please do not send passwords or payment details.
